Greg Biffle and his family died in a fatal plane crash in a Cessna Citation 550 at the Statesville Regional Airport on December 18, 2025. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) arrived on the scene soon after the crash, but a report on the reason for it could take as long as a year.
